This can be completed online(an email will be sent after you book) or come in 15 minutes before your session begins. You will then have a detailed consultation with your trained colon therapist. It is completely normal to feel nervous, but rest assured we will make you feel safe and relaxed. The session takes place in a relaxed and private room with ambient music, soft lights and essential oils. There will be a designated area for your belongings. It is best to go to the toilet before your session, so you do not have a full bladder. You will then lay on the bed with nothing on from waist down, with a towel draped over you leaving you always feeling covered and comfortable. There is a 5-gallon tank of water connected to the wall three feet above your body. This tank will be filled several times during the session with filtered water. The instrument used in your treatment is called a speculum, which is lubricated and gently inserted into the rectum. This is roughly the size of a small pencil and should be pain free. Surgical A grade tubing conveys water into the body and the water and waste such as hard stools, gas, toxic matter come out of the body directly into the plumbing. As the water enters your body it will then simultaneously exit back throughout the tubing and all waste is contained in a closed tube. This leaves no mess or smell. If a client is wanting to view what is releasing from the body, we can film or have a mirror on the wall. *Please note all tubing is changed after every treatment. A trained colon therapist will be by your side the entire session guiding you on the process with what is leaving your body, massaging the colon and lower pressure point on the back. Any questions you have about the session will be answered and guidance will be given on exercise, food choices, wellness and goal setting to help you on your health journey. " The session will take anywhere between 45/60 minutes. Please allow 60 minutes timeframe for a session start to finish. After the session is complete the therapist will leave the room and let you sit on the toilet for as long as needed. You will then be given a drink of probiotics *please note this is optional. The treatment is relaxing and pain free but please keep in mind each session is individual and at times might be uncomfortable due to gas or extreme compaction and hard stools that need to be released. At all times the therapist will help you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. We pride ourselves at Flora & Co Wellness on making every single client feel relaxed and provide a safe space to heal. https://www.floraandcowellness.com.au/our-method daily 0.75 2021-09-28 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61285d2a96180f27d51fb9d3/1632798800632-CJNNWCF17WLDOCAKXXMB/FC-Icons-03.png OUR METHOD https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61285d2a96180f27d51fb9d3/1632799012896-ONH1971T66OP7RCNC2PV/FC-Icons-02.png OUR METHOD https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61285d2a96180f27d51fb9d3/1632799072595-L29Y3INLWOAFJMDS9LKM/FC-Icons-01.png OUR METHOD - Our Method Colon Hydrotherapy is a safe yet effective method of naturally cleansing the colon of built-up toxicity and harmful waste material. Colon cleansing, also known as colonic irrigation or colonic hydrotherapy, involves flushing the colon with filtered water (warm and cold) to remove accumulated waste. It is a Practice that has been around since ancient times, and the benefits are based on the premise that digestive waste can be a toxin to the body. The Woods Gravity Method The method we use at Flora & Co Wellness is the Woods Gravity closed system. Using the natural flow of gravity to introduce water into the body assisting the body’s natural muscular rhythm to release waste. This is the most effective way for releasing toxic matter while also strengthening the colon. Woods Gravity has a reputation for being the most comfortable and effective method possible. When accumulated waste and toxic matter are removed from your colon, overall bodily function significantly improves with the ability to heal. Bowel health is essential for achieving and maintaining optimal health and all-round improved wellbeing. The Woods Gravity method allows the body to better absorb and digest vital nutrients and re-tone the colon, eliminate parasites and worms, candida, hard stools, gas and improve bowel function. The colon is around 5 feet long and 3 inches in diameter. It can roughly hold anywhere between 5 to 8 kilograms of waste, making it pivotal to cleanse. https://www.floraandcowellness.com.au/the-benefits daily 0.75 2021-09-28 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61285d2a96180f27d51fb9d3/1632798743037-XZ9BL1OZ50ROPAF98NCA/FC-Icons-01.png THE BENEFITS https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61285d2a96180f27d51fb9d3/1632799284009-KRSQLW965Y0NW0LLWCE6/FC-Icons-02.png THE BENEFITS https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/61285d2a96180f27d51fb9d3/1632799250889-NLE9NX9UV2Y71KX8O9FM/FC-Icons-03.png THE BENEFITS - The Benefits Detoxification and bowel health is essential for achieving and maintaining optimal health and wellness.
